What is 1 Million Cups (1MC)?

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly event (every Wednesday) designed to educate, engage, and connect local entrepreneurs. Built on the idea that entrepreneurs discover solutions and thrive when they collaborate over coffee, each session features one or two startup founders who present their business ideas to a supportive audience. After a short presentation, the audience offers feedback, advice, and encouragement—fostering a vibrant community of innovation, connection, and shared learning. Whether you're a founder, mentor, investor, or just curious, 1 Million Cups is where startup stories begin and relationships grow.

Time Commitment

The time commitment is about 5 hours per week. 1 hour for organizer team meetings, 2 hours executing your specfic duties, 30 minutes before and after the event for setup and cleanup and the 1 hour for the actual event.
